Nike Prime Hype DF – Available Now

One of the best bang for your buck models just landed at Finish Line.

I’ve been playing in the Nike Prime Hype DF for a couple of months now and its one of my favorite models from Nike this year… and they aren’t even a signature. They’re a little plain in terms of design, but they’re durable, comfortable and has great traction. I liked these way more than the Hyperdunk 2014 and they’re quite a bit cheaper which was a surprise.

If you’re interested in grabbing a pair, you can head over to Finish Line now & stay tuned for their performance review in the near future.

  1. so this is the shoe that you teased after you went to nike HQ right? and they have dual-fusion foam? might grab one for outside balling! thanks NW

  2. Safe to assume these were the same kicks you posted on IG that was blurred out? BTW, Dual Fusion is basically 2 different density phylon midsoles right?

    1. Yes, but there is nothing that states the types of foams used. Only that its a dual density setup. The carrier layer is likely Phylon. The cushioned layer could be Cushlon or something else entirely.

          1. Well if its cheap enough here in the Philippines, I’d look into them, We dont really have alot of indoor courts here.

            1. Thats what I liked most about them, they they played really well and they just happen to be cheap. Its not like they are a cheap shoe and they play like such. However, I know your prices in the Philippines tend to go up quite a bit so I’d hope that they’re still relatively cheap at retail.

          2. Not a bit man, Kobe 9 low em’s here are like $200 something thats of course if you convert $ to Peso. These would have to hold out on both indoor and outdoor courts, since we play mostly outdoor (cement, not prestine, crappy and dirty with a bit of paint) and indoor (highend, only if theres an up coming tournament or leagues). We always have to look for an alternative basketball shoe even if you love sneakers.

        1. i play spartans and islanders on kanto courts. and sockless, chuck taylor immitations on the brgy. leagues. a hankerchief for a headband, and an undergarment sando for a jersey. welcome to the philippines! where basketball never stops (even for squatters with wi-fi).

          1. There was always a point that even when your wearing leather shoes for school, since its part of the uniforms here, that you played basketball on cement courts!

      1. Zoom Soldier 8, Hyperdunk 2014 or Jordan flight time 14.5???

PS: I have plantar fascitis on my left foot (probably because of the Venomenon’s 4 coz they re lows)

  3. If it had forefoot zoom I would have deeply considered. Gonna wait for these J.Crossover 2’s and WOW 3’s for now.

  4. Nightwing, have you ever tried any of the other dual fusion models Nike have? I believe there is a dual fusion 1 and 2. Not sure if they’re any good. These look better though, look like they might even be a step up on those two previous models.
