It’s been eleven years since LeBron James hit the hardwood in the Zoom Soldier 1, his very first Soldier model, but he may do so again in 2018.
Several leakers have spotted a LeBron Soldier 1 retro overseas; the shoe looks nearly identical to its original with tumbled leather all over its upper and L23 branding.
LeBron first drew attention to the Zoom Soldier 1 when he wore it on-court during the 2007 NBA Playoffs and 2007 NBA Finals; in that Finals series, the Popovich-led Spurs dominated the Cavaliers in four straight games (Tony Parker won Finals MVP that year). James started alongside Larry Hughes, Sasha Pavlovic, Drew Gooden, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas during that Finals series, and wore several different Soldier 1 PEs.
There is no official word yet on when the 2018 Zoom Soldier 1 will release but if leakers are posting about it then it should only be months away. The Air Zoom Generation, LeBron’s first signature model, also received several re-releases in 2018.

2nd favorite soldier to play in after the 3s. Have always liked the colorblocking on the white/navy pair. Hopefully Nike doesn’t skimp on the zoom and materials. Will grab a pair if they are built like the OGs…
Agreed!!! If they are built to be tanks like the OGs then you can sign me up for two. I’m still mad I blew out the zoom bag in mine (yes, I hooped in them THAT tough for THAT long.

I love the straps on this thing, they look great!
I love the zoom but the rubber on mine is pretty oxidized so I can’t play in them if I wanted to. I have the dunkman color. I’m a LeBron “hater” but I won’t get rid of those. The design and the fit of them make them impossible for me to dump them.
Definitely hated LeHeat, but I’ve enjoyed everything I got from his line (9, 11, 12, 15;Solder 6 and 9)

I thought I would never see the day these re-released. I’ve wanted these for the longest but the ones that pop up on ebay are beat. Hopefully they release a few colorways.
