We have previewed the newest member of the Pippen lineup a few times already, but now we have some great up close shots that help highlight many of the details featured on the shoe.
Many of the shots show off the faux snake skin, which admittedly feels a bit out of place on a Pippen shoe. Just like the toebox area, the tongue makes use of tumbled leather for the tab at the top. With a pull tab that reads “Pippen 6”, and his 33 jersey number can be seen inside the tongue, there is no doubting that this is the long awaited Pippen 6. Flywire is utilized for the majority of the eyelets, and the swoosh is done in a chroma material for a unique look.

Can go the other way around too. Dont know why people dont understand that basketball is a team sport. Dont care how good you are by yourself, you cant play team ball then you arent a good player. Period.

For argument’s sake, Jordan didn’t win without Pippen either. Not before he arrived in ’87 and not after MJ went on to play with the Wizards either. The man can claim the accolade on his shoe because he was big part of those runs.
Pippen is a HOFer in his own right. One of the best defensive wings to ever play the game and his offensive game was only hindered by Jordan having the ball in his hands so much. If he didn’t play the bulk of his career along side the GOAT, he would have won and MVP or two. So I think we can safely say they are one of, if not the greatest, duo of all time. I don’t think those 6 rings would have happened if Pippen wasn’t on those teams.

No word on official release details or price, but they have popped up on eBay for around $143 plus shipping. Not totally sure how close that is the eventual retail price, but hopefully that indicates that they won’t be too expensive.
