Originally released in 1995 for football athletes like the Dolphins’ Dan Marino, the Nike Air Max Speed Turf has just returned in new colorways for 2018.
Now a Nike Sportswear release, the Air Max Speed Turf is a 3/4-height cross trainer synonymous with the mid-90s. Equipped with a Max Air unit in the heel, the shoe rides atop a foam midsole and durable rubber outsole that uses the brand’s historic waffle pattern. The upper is comprised of mesh and synthetic suedes and leathers for a durable build.
The Air Max Speed Turf has arrived in two new colorways — University Gold/White and White/Blue Void — at Nike.com for $140 each. Sizes 6 to 15 are stocked.
Expect the shoe to go on sale shortly; some colorways have already dropped down to $120 at retailers like Finish Line.
