Jordan Super.Fly 2 – Another Look

The Jordan Super.Fly was a great on-court performer and from what I can see, the SuperFly 2 will be even better.

There are two versions shown in these images – I know the Black pair is the retail version while the Blue pair could be a GS pair or a sample as they are not the same as what Blake Griffin has been rocking on-court.

Take a look and let me know what you think about the Super.Fly 2 and let me know if you’ve played in the original SUper.Fly along with your personal performance thoughts.

      1. did you ever post anything on your site that explains what flight plate tech is? Sorry if you have i’m sorry for asking this. keep up the good work. i think i speak for all of us when i say we appreciate everything you do.

  1. They look amazing, look wise and performance wise. The blue pair may be part of the aero(mania and flight) series.

  2. was looking at an old pair of team jordans today, called “Jumpman Elite”, and saw that the dynamic fit or fingers for lockdown were already implemented since 2008-09, what took em so long to place it all models o.o

  3. the “dynamic fit” is NOT a new tech. I forst saw themon a pair of team J shoes called team bizness. I think they came out in 02 or 03 maybe? I still have mine and they are def worth it. There even netted which goes to show the shroud thing isnt new to j’s either.

  4. These have the same traction pattern as the Jordan Aero Flight. Not very original, i but if it works then i cant hate it for that reason. STILL I don’t like how the the herringbone is only in the middle, those lines don’t look like they will give you good traction. I still play in the original superflys great shoe with excellent traction and the lunarlon is still comfortable and responsive. And the zoom in the heel is almost on the same level as the forefoot so it feels very minimalistic with is great for ankle stability and doesn’t get in the way while running.

    1. The mens superfly 2 do not have the same traction as the aero manias… the blue pair is the GS version of the real superflys…

  5. I agree, they look a lot like the XX8 Lite, even with the Flight plate, only difference I see is the colorway.

  6. They should’ve kept the traction the same as Blake’s All-Star Super Fly 2 unless it didn’t perform as good as it looked.

  7. Silhouette looks just like Fly Wade 2, plus an inner bootie. Lacing system & cushion are obviously from the AJ XX8. These could be awesome, if the fit is as good as the FW2 that is.

  8. hey nightwing, which shoe would you recommend for a small forward who will be playing on the perimeter and in the post, the hyperdunk 2012 or the melo m8 advance.

  9. I’ve been playing in the Super.Flys for the past 3 months and I’ve been running into some problems. Lately, it’s been jamming my toes. My right big toe bled underneath and another toe on my left foot is bruised. My guess is that the fit is too snug? (I’m somewhat more on the wider side) Before that, it was pinching a nerve on the left foot, but that disappeared after the break-in period. Other than those issues, it performed very well.

The blue ones look wider while the black ones look narrow. Looks like I may run into the same problem again with the black ones. =p

  10. I’ve played in SuperFly’s. great shoe overall, but for me it kinda wide in the toebox area. narrow foot, i guess.
right now I have Fly wade2, Super fly and Aero flight.
Wade – very snug fit, light, fast.
aero flight – kinda awkward feeling in front where zoom unit is
super fly – great cushion, kinda plush/softy feeling, but not in a bad way.
all of em are great. can’t even rank these three, because they all rock
