America loves sequels, and BAIT is no stranger to collabs themed by sequels. After the recent success of the BAIT x Reebok InstaPump Fury ‘Ted 2’, I wasn’t surprised to see BAIT gearing up for another film-based sneaker. I just didn’t think it was going to be this film.
The BAIT x Diadora S8000 ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ is inspired directly by the film, you guessed it, Kung Fu Panda 3. The film debuts this Friday, January 29, and stars the likes of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogan, and many more. Unfortunately, the hairy sneaker will release “later this year” according to BAIT. Thus, this teaser was the perfect media judo move to get sneaker enthusiasts aware of the film’s release.
