Yesterday, we reported that FILA was honoring Stan Lee with a one-of-two Original Fitness. Now, we’ve got a detailed look at all of its comic inspirations.
The FILA Original Fitness x Stan Lee was presented to the man himself at an event last night in Beverly Hills. It was designed to pay homage to the signature elements of the fantastic universe Stan Lee has created.
Constructed from a lovely cream leather, the shoe features a FILA cream/FILA navy color combo. The back collar flaunts ten hand embroidered pops of color that represent Stan Lee’s most iconic Marvel heroes like Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man. The “Extraordinary: Stan Lee” logo, designed for the event, also graces the collar.
The shoe’s sockliners are Spider-Man red and showcase Stan Lee’s infamous signature in gold. for a luxurious touch, the lining is done in pigskin. Stan Lee’s “NUFF SAID” moniker is splashed beneath the translucent outsoles for maximum effect.
A second identical pair of the custom shoe was signed by Stan Lee and given to the winner of the auction to support event partners Omaze and Make-A-Wish.
A different build was designed in very small numbers exclusively for the event’s VIP attendees. This FILA Original Fitness x Stan Lee 2 silhouette uses a white/navy/red colorway and features “NUFF” and “SAID” on the left and right quarters, respectively, in a FILA font. It’s finished off with gum bottoms.

The Nuff SAID VIP builds are great. The cream color for Stan I believe was chosen because he has a tendency to wear a cream colored shoe most days.
