Under Armour has launched its first colorway of the highly anticipated ClutchFit Force. This will be their first soccer boot featuring their new upper material. Supposedly, this new material is intended to morph to your foot as a second skin for superior comfort and touch. ClutchFit has been mentioned and detailed multiple times on our site but as a refresher, it is essentially a microfiber upper with a 3D overlay that has a two-way stretching ability that enhances its reaction to our movement. The Clutch fit also features a 4D foam cushioned insole and a new, anatomically designed soleplate. Here are a few pictures of the design that can be purchased for $218 at ProDirectSoccer. Under Armour was kind enough to send a pair of these our way for testing, so look for a first impression video in the next day or so, followed by a performance review once I can get time on the pitch using them.
