It’s not often I let out a muttered “whoa…” when I see a new colorway or sneaker but that was my exact reaction when I laid eyes on these beauties.
This Black/ Crimson Air Jordan XX8 is laced with a Carbon Fiber print along the shroud and I think that seeing the midsole in a color other than black for the first time really makes the shoe pop a little more.
These are set to release this Saturday, April 13th, so if you like what you see then you may want to call your local shops to see if they’ll be in stock.
I like these a lot. I will try to get these this weekend.

Finally the traditional Chicago away bred. I will be tempted to get these on release, but I have a feeling the Chicago home with white shroud will look even more sick.
Let me correct myself, these are not what I expected at first glance. I was thinking bred, but that is(and clearly written) black & crimson. This looks like the same crimson that released on the recent IIIs.
Nightwing what is up with the time zone on this platform? It is set well ahead of the US standard zones.
When will these be available at Foot Locker? None of their reps say they will be coming this week, and their release calendar does not have them listed….?

Is the release date source of April 13 accurate? I check the Footlocker release calendar periodically and I just checked again. No XXVIIIs are even listed this month or next.

Thus far major retailers aren’t confirmed to carry these yet for Saturday’s NDC release. An Eastbay rep confirmed this on the Jordan XX8 niketalk.com forums. These will probably be a twitter link sale from Nike/JB to start at the very least.
Yes I was just about to comment how I went in today and verbally spoke with Footlocker HoH and Champs reps and they aren’t expecting shipments. I was told that this may be an online sale only.
