The graphic seen on this pair of Air Jordan XX8‘s is identical to the Oak Hill Academy PE but with a different color scheme.
These will be available on June 1st for $250.
When I first saw these awhile back, I thought that they were Knicks inspired. Totally overlooked the grey. I like this design, I got these in the Oak Hills. Those were the closest I could get to an old school Chicago colorway in the 28s.
The new Knicks colorway incorporates grey instead of black. Black is usually associated with “away” so these can be called the away Knicks colorway?
Your reply is slightly confusing because I’m not sure if the first and last sentences should be reversed as a question and then a statement?
I thought about it and I do recall seeing Spike Lee wear a pair of 28s in true Knicks’ colors at their Christmas ’12 home game.
I like this cw a lot and might have to cop my 4th pair of these. Currently rotating between two different pairs for hoops, and saving a pair for when one of those go south. Can’t believe I’m stocking these for hoops like a crazy, but they’re just too damn good on the court.
I hope Jordan Brand continues the unlocked zoom + flightPlate combo in their flagship shoe moving forward, but at a cheaper price point of course.

That sounds great. So it is supposed to have the same cushion set up exactly? I’ll definitely grab a pair if that is the case.
Although I think the XX8s are expensive, I just can’t get a pair in the colorway that I want. Being overseas sucks, we don’t get access to be able to just walk into a store and pick them up like some of you guys can in the US. Online, the XX8s sell out too fast for me to get a pair :(.
Yeah, it looks like the same shoe, minus the shroud. Nightwing had an article on it in kicksoffcourt I think if you wanted to look it up.
