A rainbow colored Nike Sock Dart has popped up on the Internet, a sneaker that is a part of the ‘Be True’ Collection.
The silhouette is released in numerous colors under the Nike Lab umbrella of the swoosh brand, which releases limited and high-concept products. This specific colorway is for the 2015 ‘Be True’ Collection, which celebrates the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender) community with multicolored straps and insoles. The rainbow theme connects with the fact that the official symbol of the LGBT movement is a rainbow. Nike started the ‘Be True’ collection in 2013 in support of the cause for equality, with proceeds of the collection being donated to the LGBT Sports Coalition.
