Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015 – Detailed Look & Review

The Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015 is actually one of my more anticipated hoop shoes for 2015… at least from the shoes we know are releasing at the moment.

I was finally able to find them in-store and with that, a detailed look & review is in order. Just a quick overview of everything that you may need to know if you were planning on purchasing prior to their upcoming performance review.

Thanks for watching!

  1. This doesn’t look like a bad shoe but it’s certainly a let down in terms of cushion. I was really looking forward to having this new upper with a cushion set up similar to last year’s.

  2. i tried these on at Fin L and the felt much lower to the ground than the HR and theses felt much softer / bounsy than the HR. I passed on them and sank my loot into the Jordan Flight Time 14.5 – Darn nice shoe for hoopin.

  3. man i tried these on in store and i couldnt say i was impressed. Idk it might just be me but I felt like they really lacked support even just walking around in them, especially compared to the original, which didnt have the greatest support to begin with.
Gotta say that I feel like the kyrie will be a much better performer.

  4. Traction looks impressive. I don’t like the cheapish fuse design but if the mesh underneath it would allow some flexibility and comfort, I guess I would give it an ok. although I dig inner booty design, I hate how difficult these would be just to wear them. I prefer an easy slip-on booty. I like the bottom midfoot design.

I’d say these looks ok but I won’t buy them for full price. probably for $50.

    1. The shoe doesn’t have enough support = The won’t get enough league wide support to go hyphe dunk status. Remember when the Detroit pistons banned there players from wearing the hyper rise cuz lack of support and incidental injuries- this feels like the same shoe. Better as a cross trainer

  5. Nightwing, what do you think about the fit for Jordan future, does it run big or small? I watch all your Jordan future review video, you didn’t mention about the sizing and how they fit.
