I don’t know about you, but I’m digging all these random no-release-date having Nike Retro releases lately.
I’m a huge fan of the Nike Air Pippen 1, especially in this colorway, and if you are too then you can grab them once again at retailers. These kicks are straight classics and I can’t help but gawk at them anytime I see them…I own them too which is the weird part.
My 2008 pair started to separate at the toe so I grabbed my size as soon as I saw them listed. You can grab them now at JimmyJazz.com.
Do these run true to size or should I go up a size? I could never find these during the original run.
The 2008 pair fit big so I went down 1/2 sz and hope they fit.
Then noble red colourway I have fit short…..just let you know
They run big? Good to know. Did Pippen’s version of the shoe come with Zoom Air?
My 2008 pair did, dont know about this new one. I bought the same sz as my ’08 just in case and hopefully they fit.
I bought the OGs for my brother in law and he absolutely loved them. He wore them everyday to school, casually and for balling for years. Maybe I’ll pick up a pair and surprise him…

These were never released with Zoom Air. The Player Exclusives, those made for Pippen himself featured zoom air, because he hated the max air used in the GR’s.
That said, these had poor traction, and then were heavy as all hell, and I like heavy shoes! But these were close to 20 ounces back in the day.
interesting if they release the special zoom edition I used to wonder if the Jordan 10 breds with 45 on them would and they eventually did , sidenote also haven’t heard anything on crap cant remember name back to future nikes releasing soon..
Some of these full length max air shoes u really can’t feel the max air cushioning. It’s like they should put a little less air lol I had the Nike air max uptempo and couldn’t feel a cushioning advantage. The air max hyper posits was nice though the max air felt like a suspension on a car.
Love this shoe, classic. My dumb ass passed these up at Ross a few years back.
