Puma has been taking the basketball shoe world by storm over the last couple years with some great models. They even made our surprise best basketball shoe of 2020, the Puma Clyde All Pro. Now, Puma is setting their sights on running shoes. Puma Running, despite once sponsoring Usain Bolt and other world class runners, was in hibernation. But as of March 2021, they’re back and better than ever.
I say better than ever because they’re launching four new models to kick off their new running line. The Deviate Nitro, Velocity Nitro, Liberate Nitro, and Eternity Nitro all release on either March 9, 2021 or March 15, 2021 with multiple new colorways dropping shortly after. And that doesn’t even include their race day shoe and future Vaporfly competitor, the Puma Deviate Elite, which is rumored for the April/May timeframe.
So what are our first impressions of Puma Running’s reemergence? Click play above to hear Chris and Drew’s thoughts now that they have the shoes in hand.
