Million Dollar Ballers has teamed up with Chris Herren – if you don’t know who Chris Herren is I suggest a YouTube search for ESPN’s Unguarded ASAP – to bring you a collaborative T-Shirt to help his foundation; The Herren Project.
Herren, former Fresno State star and NBA player, was the subject of the ESPN film “Unguarded,” which chronicled his career-long battle with addiction. He is the author of the book “Basketball Junkie” and speaks to more than 50,000 children a year about his life story and the perils of addiction.
The Herren Project – www.theherrenproject.org – is a nonprofit foundation that assists individuals and families struggling with addiction. The shirt features Herren from his Fresno State era with the addition of purple hair, representing his journey to sobriety and Project Purple, the anti-substance abuse initiative that The Herren Project launched this year.
Half the proceeds from the shirt sales are donated directly towards Project Purple/ The Herren Project on behalf of Chris Herren.
