Matthew Dellavedova is Still Wearing the Swoosh

As you know, last night was Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Yesterday, it was announced that Matthew Dellavedova of the Cleveland Cavaliers had signed a sponsorship deal with PEAK, a Chinese brand. However, last night Delly was still rocking the Kobe X and some people have been asking why.

The NBA Finals will actually be over by the time Dellavedova can rock PEAK, but all eyes are on him now that it’s the Finals (he was hella scrappy and showed tons of hustle last year). He’ll be guarding some of the most famous athletes on Earth and be working beside LeBron James in these coming games, so PEAK should find a way to get branding on his feet, and fast. The PEAK-Dellavedova deal doesn’t begin until the first of July (after the 2016 ends).

You can read the full story about the PEAK deal here.

Think it was a good move for PEAK to sign Delly? Is it ridiculous that the deal begins after the Finals? Sound off below.

  1. I would say not really. as long as it is a very good shoe overall, it will sell and will have nothing to do with Dellawhateva endorsing it. guy is overrated and only Cavs fans make it seem like he’s the second coming of Jesus. man, just imagine comparing Kyrie with Dellawhateva, it’s not even close. Peak is better signing someone who is obviously worth signing.

  2. I understand why peak is signing him but I am not a fan of his. That photo of him trying to block Livingston is priceless

  3. What bothers me is something happens to a certain player when the game is close or that certain player is affecting the Cavs,

Iggy is making it hard for Lebron to score…..bam a hit,

Korver makes 3’s, next thing we know he gets hurt,

Taj Gibson gets scissor leg, ejected,

Hustle or just planned by Dely….

    Or Dirty???

Peak should sign more deserving guards than just signing him just to get into australian market.

  4. For marketing thats a stupid move they should have sent a shit ton of boxes this the moment everyones watching not the olympics or next year
