Greg Oden was recently spotted at a Miami Heat practice and look what is sitting right next to him… a pair of Nike Air Alonzo’s!
These used to be Eastbay’s clearance section headliner back in the day… the Black/ Red pair seemed like they were always available and for dirt cheap. I’m literally shocked that Oden was wearing them. Not only was he wearing them but they are brand new… meaning a Retro or remake.
Is Nike gearing up for a re-release of the Nike Air Alonzo since the Retro hype is at an all-time high? We’ll have to wait and see.

Balky knees and 90s tech: bad idea.
Wow! For someone who’s career was destroyed by injury to his knees I really can’t understand why he’s wearing those shoes when he could get lebrons shoes or a bunch of other shoes for that matter that’ll provide ample cushioning for his knees. His knees get swelling after one practice, shouldn’t he want better kicks?

Mourning could have given him a pair. I don’t think it means they are being re-released. btw, I was reading earlier today that Oden had to sit out with swelling in his knee.
