The adidas D Rose 5 Boost is finally available in the Away colorway.
I was told that these have the same upper as the initial launch colorway, they’re just black with some glitter effect instead of red. If that’s the case then some people might go after the Chicago Ice colorway instead as I’ve been told they have more of a fabric based upper.

I tried on the Chicago ice cw and the material felt great. Definitely a lot better than the L train. I’m still baffled as to why Adidas decided on such a shitty upper for a launch cw. They could’ve used the same color scheme but on the clothlike material. At least for me, it turned me off from buying it when it first launched. I would have a pair right now if they used better materials.
I copped the L-train early and should’ve waited, I got to see the white cw, USAB and Chicago ice in person and the materials felt a lot better. What evs
me too man. Poor patience on my part but still enjoy how the shoe performs on court. Ended up getting the white ones too though.
I bought this pair a while back since im not from the states side. Just my opinion but i was thoroughly disappointed in these. Maybe my hopes for them were too high, but I cant help but kick myself for buying these.
Thats money I could have spent on the Kobe 9s with I dont mind having multiple pairs of.
Definitely one of the most disappointing shoes Ive bought nxt to the kd 6s.
