Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2012 Point 5

Nike-Hyperdunk-2012-Point-5

We have our first look at the actual Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2012 ‘Point 5’
and I’m not really impressed.

This is definitely a stripped down version of the Hyperdunk 2012 which is something I was quite expecting. Flywire isn’t even used… just a lot of stitching and that’s not what comes to mind when I think of Hyperdunk.

What are your initial thoughts?

  1. this shoe looks ugly and looks nothing like the hyperdunks. when i think of hyperdunks i think of flywire and ventilation. this has none of those. DEFINETLY A STEP DOWN!!!nightwing are you going to review these?

  2. one could wish this .5 means they are also .5 the price of the lunar HDs. it could be a steal for that price.

  3. no flywire? That makes no sense. I understand it’s a take down model but hyper dunks are all about being the lightest. I wonder how much these will be?

  4. Been better off just switched to Zoom Cushion while keeping Flywire design.
Unless they come out with “Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2012” with specs I mentioned.

  5. They come with XDR, they’re for outdoor use. That may justify the altered materials and construction.
