The Nike Free Ace Brings Back Leather to Training Shoes

A new swoosh silhouette brings it back to the ’90s with premium materials used on the Nike Free Ace.

Nowadays, the majority of current performance sneakers are made out of synthetic materials. This shoe takes the best of both worlds, with more emphasis on the natural materials side. The materials on the toe box of the three colorways below include a buttery nubuck/suede, tumbled leather and a flat leather. Conversely, the bootie upper is made out of synthetics to help with breathability.

Performance wise, the shoe mimics the Huarache Trainer strap to provide a lockdown fit on the midfoot area. The shoe also boasts a Free 5.0 sole for flexibility while still providing enough support for your training activities.

The Nike Free Ace is available now in three colorways at Nikestore and Eastbay for $100.
