AND1 just launched its latest model: the Tai Chi Racer.
After reintroducing the original Tai Chi in 2018, AND1 has taken the tooling from the popular model and placed it on the upper of its original Racer.
Infusing two classics to create a brand new shoe doesn’t always lead to the best results. However, the Tai Chi Racer looks like they were made for the Tai Chi’s tooling as the two work really well together.
The shoe is labeled as being ready for the street or the court so it’s performance driven, but material choices and colors will suit both players and casual wearers alike.
Soft full grain leather and suede are used along the uppers while the main body of the shoe is made of breathable mesh. An EVA midsole is in place along with the herringbone traction pods found on the new Tai Chi Retro.

Man this was my first AND1 shoe and I’ve been searching for literally 20 years, please let them drop that OG Navy blue!
