ESPN has released a mini-documentary that chronicles the birth and impact of Stephon Marbury’s $15 sneakers that had a quick run in the late 2000’s.
Say what you will about the Starbury sneakers, but you can clearly tell that the people surrounding the brand and Stephon Marbury himself really did care about the product and wanted to produce something that was truly affordable for everyone. Even though the Starbury line was not a successful brand in the long run, the story behind it is definitely worth a watch.
