A release reminder: The Adidas Mutombo 2 drops tomorrow in the original black/burgundy colorway for $110 via stores like Wish and Sneaker Politics. No word on whether these will release on adidas.com but I think it’s a fair bet to say they will, like the Adidas Mutombo OG. This matte black high top is just mean looking and I love it. The tongue branding is so 1994 and the African print peeks through in just the right places. If you can’t wait until tomorrow, they’re available now on eBay. I was finally able to get a pair, they’re actually pretty great, you need to add a cushioned insole(because they completely ignored comfort), but then they’re quite the beast-performers, especially for the bigger, heavier guys.
