Reebok Question Mid ‘First Ballot’ – Available Now for Pre-Order

I love this colorway, but greatly dislike the strange spiral embossed upper.

The First Ballot Reebok Question is sort of available now with this Packer Shoes pre-order. You can buy the shoe for retail, $125, and they’ll begin shipping out orders on August 15th. While I personally loath the look of the material used along the upper, the colorway is so clean that I’m still on the fence. These will be available at most Reebok retailers as well so this will likely be a shoe that I need to see in person before making a final decision.

  1. i think i saw a vid where you said these are your all- time favorites… was there ever a performance review for these?

  2. I asked this in another post, but I don’t think anyone ever saw it since old posts here get buried quite quickly.

What are the top 2 or 3 AI shoes performance wise for someone that has never owned a pair of his shoes? And out of the retros, which ones are the ones worth getting?

I’d like to try a pair of his shoes, but wouldn’t know where to start. I’m only interested in the best performing models though, and also only if the retro’s performance is close to the original.

Also, with the Hexalite cushioning system, is that usually full length or is there just a small amount in the the heal area? What function does it have on the sides? Does it actually provide any cushioning, or is it just there for looks on the sidewalls?

    1. I would go with the Question Mids. They are one of the rare models that haven’t been changed that much over the years. If you read Nightwing’s performance review nothing with blow you away. But its a decent basketball shoe. The Answer IV might be my next choice although the cushion system has totally been downgraded in retro models. Again. Not a great rating by Nightwing but totally wearable. Especially if you’re accustom to wearing 90’s era shoes.
