New Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Utility is Dropping Soon

NIKE AIR VAPORMAX FLYKNIT UTILITY FEATURED

You’ll be more blue than red when you find out how much the Air VaporMax Flyknit Utility costs.

The Air VaporMax Flyknit is a sneaker that has attempted to take the throne away from adidas’ Boost models as being one of the more comfortable runners on the market (at that top-tier near-$200 price point). With that, numerous variations of the build have surfaced, and the Air VaporMax Flyknit Utility is one of the latest.

As the name states, this shoe flaunts a red Flyknit upper that allows for a comfortable yet form-fitting fit similar to that of a sock. The traditional laces and lacing system have been replaced by two stretchy straps that help keep the foot in place while lace locks help cinch the fit. All this sits atop a VaporMax Air unit and an additional midsole for adequate cushioning.

The Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Utility ‘Red/Black/Obsidian’ is set to drop on July 12 for $225. You can grab a pair over at nike.com and select Nike retailers on release day. Several colorways of the Air VaporMax Utility are on sale now at Hanon for over 50% off ($225 $111 USD).

  1. I am under the impression that these shoes, the first model included, is not waterproof. Am I correct? If I am, how wonderful it would be if a “utility” shoe is waterproof. Or at least water resistant.
