The adidas D Lillard 3 unveiling is just weeks away and we haven’t seen Lillard wear it on the hardwood yet. (Curry was wearing the 3 weeks before it came out…) He dropped a strong 40 points last night against the Cavaliers in his second signature (which is a great shoe, probably one of the best bang for your buck right now). Now, a much clearer photo of the D Lillard 3 has surfaced and it’s worth a look.
This images shows much more of the upper and how padded the heel and upper seem to be. Plus, just look at that herringbone. Many are concerned that the wings on the side panels will pinch but that doesn’t appear to be the case; once the foot enters the shoe I think the wings will sit on either side of the foot, not directly on top of it. Regardless, we’ll know soon enough.

Hmm I’m still not sure about these. it’s like they put gates around the alpha bounce and said here you go Dame make it work.
well the alpha bounce is an awesome shoe, i even shot around in them once and they felt great, think with some support structure they could be a phenomenal hoop shoe, so maybe what you suggested ain’t a bad thing at all…
I’m really trying to like the looks of the 3, but the 2 already looked so good, it feels like a huge step back in that department.
Functionally I’m dreading the idea that the support piece will dig into the ankle area when folded over from lacing.
Functionally I think these will be fine. The TPU piece seems to be lower then where the ankle will sit. It looks as it acts as a harness to lock down the heel and the lateral/medial. I think we will be alright!
Just like the blazers current season, promising at first only to disappoint
TB made the Playoffs last year and I’m pretty sure they’re gonna at least repeat that this year

I think these are awesome! The look is polarizing and I think it’s great for the progression of the Lillard line. The 1 and 2 were geat as well, but I feel they were a bit safe. I really like where they went with the 3. It’s very distinctive and will standout on court. As far as performance I think they will be beastly. Looks promising!
The more I see these the doper they look. I may have to cop a pair.
