This is a new take for adidas’ latest soccer-inspired sneaker, the Sobakov.
adidas is on a roll as of late, with perhaps one of the more anticipated sneaker packs of the year, the adidas x Dragon Ball Z sneaker collection, releasing on Saturday. That being said, one of the brand’s newer silhouettes is coming in a new colorway in about two weeks.
The adidas Sobakov is a modern take on the classic adidas soccer boot: the Predator, a boot the great David Beckham made iconic. According to adidas, the shoe’s three-stripe design was heavily inspired by the Predator while the lightweight knit upper was a way to merge new technology with classic designs.
Underfoot, there is an EVA midsole for cushioning wherever these are taken, be it on the street or on the pitch. Beneath that is a chevron rubber outsole.
The adidas Sobakov ‘Black/Orange’ will release globally on October 4 for $120. You can grab a pair over at adidas.com and select adidas retailers on release day.
