Finally, 2020 brings us something nice. The Jordan Trunner Advance is the second Trunner to release this year! How long has it been since two Trunners have released in one year? So long we can’t even remember…
Last month Chris gave us a detailed look and review of the Jordan Trunner Ultimate. The Trunner Ultimate retails at $150 and features full length Zoom Air with double stacked Zoom in the forefoot. The midsole is made of an unknown foam that is most likely injected Phylon. With gyms shut down, Chris is running in them regularly and is currently filming a full performance review for an upcoming video. Side note, did anyone think we’d ever get a full performance review of a running shoe from Chris? It’s just another way that the virus has turned the world upside down.
Costing $40 less, the Jordan Trunner Advance is essentially a take down model of the Jordan Trunner Ultimate. The Trunner Advance features a squishy Cushlon midsole with Zoom Air in the forefoot. The materials on the Trunner Advance are similar to the Trunner Ultimate but there are a ton of differences that aren’t noticeable at first glance. Chris goes over each one in the video to help you figure out which Trunner you’ll prefer. He also offers his personal opinion on which shoe he prefers.
The Jordan Trunner Advance is available for $110 at Finish Line.
