We had our first glimpse of the upcoming Jordan Melo M9 and we now have a few more colorways to look forward to come Spring 2013.
Plenty of performance features are on Melo’s 9th signature sneaker but the heel and forefoot Zoom Air setup is something I’m personally excited for.
Retail will be $140 and look to be great on-court option.

It looks like its lacking SO much forefoot traction, I pray that the outsole doesnt look like that when they actually make it.
The M8 didnt look very efficient in the forefoot either but they actually had ample traction. Hopefully these will offer the same if not better.
Looks like it is going to be zoom & podulon this time around. Curious to see how these perform on the court. The design looks like they improved ventilation from the current shoe.
at the same price level($140), I find the Melo 9 is more promising on performance V.S. the Hyperdunk2012 judging just by the picture.
The shoelace flywire system seem like could provide a very good lock down also good ventilation(don’t know how thick the mesh beneath it, tho).

They dont look very flexible but HD arent flexible either. Im excited to try them out.
btw, the wht/blk/ylw colorway is very eye-pleasing imo.

It should release around November as Melos always comes out around that time
I hope that these perform just as well as the m8’s. these and the powerhoward3s might be my performance ball shoes next year if they are as good if not better than there current models.

there not to expensive either unlike the other signature sneaker. i realy hope the price on the durants, lebrons, and kobes doesnt keep going up. its almost becomeing unreasonable.
What the*! they had a good gig on the M8, this looks like a hiking boot. wear these and chop wood comfortably. they have a mix of the Black Cat trainer mid/out sole silouette at the forefoot. Similar circle cutout from Flight the power at forefoot tread area and is that Podulon like CP3? My fat forefoot zoom bag, what happened someone text Melo!
