Love it or hate it, the Jordan Melo M9 looks like an on-court beast to me.

I see slight traction on the toe area, from the initial pic that only showed traction on the forefoot zoom air area. this may be way better than i thought
The lacing combined with the flywire parts probably will offer a nice secure fit/ midfoot lockdown and I bet that platform is real nice, but the shoe aesthetically is so weird. A lot of shapes that don’t go too well with eachother imho. That NYK colorway conceals a lot, but that collar is…. Ugh.
(I think my foot will be just fine with those low AJ’s just below the M9’s on the 4th picture.) What about that zebra shoe on the right?
Melo’s shoes have always been underrated and decently priced. Performance AND comfort wise the Melo’s have been one of my favorite balling shoes of my time.
Jordan Brand in general is underrated as far as performance is concerned. Even the Retro models have been solid on-court options for the most part.
Very cool. The composition of the upper is very nice. I can see that they are making an “M” shape with the flywire. I noticed that in the third picture the flywire harness is different between the top and bottom. The top one the flywire goes under the forefoot window so the full M is exposed while the second one the flywire is completely exposed. I wonder if that is an option? Or I’m just really stretching for something. The texture on the sidewall is cool it looks like jagged ice or something. Visible zoom air in the heel is always welcomed. These look great for playing in.

I like the white and blue colorway but i dont realy like the toungs. tungs, toungues? I dont know how to spell.
