Earlier this month, we gave you a look at the upcoming AlphaBounce Beyond, an updated version of the popular budget-friendly runner, the adidas AlphaBounce.
The AlphaBounce Beyond has been created for athletes who wouldn’t consider themselves runners but use running as a part of enhancing their performance in another sport.
The changes to the AlphaBounce in the AlphaBounce Beyond are very subtle. The AlphaBounce Beyond features a ForgedMesh upper, with a new pattern being created with adidas’ ARAMIS system.
Additionally, the upper has new stretch areas that support both linear and lateral movements during multi directional training. It also brings a new tongue design, almost making the shoe a midtop.
Underfoot is a Bounce midsole, and beneath that is a Continental rubber outsole for maximum durability.
The adidas AlphaBounce Beyond will be available beginning January 17 for $120 on adidas.com and worldwide at retailers like Eastbay beginning January 24.

They look way better than the original model!
I kind of like the look. I’m more of a subtle and plain guy usually but these are intriguing.
hahah, i think adidas nailed the function of the alphabounce in their product description, i use my pairs purely to do sprints and plyometrics on the days i don’t play ball, and they are the best shoes i could wear for said activities, i can’t imagine taking them on long runs, though…but then again i can’t imagine doing long runs, they bore me to death
