A First Look at the Nike KD Trey 5 V

The latest in the Nike KD Trey5 line has surfaced via potato cam. Check out the first look in all its grainy glory.

Once again, the Nike KD Trey 5 line evolves with the fifth iteration of the takedown model. The KD Trey 5 V seems to draw inspiration from the KD9 Elite with the exterior rope lockdown design, yet keep things inexpensive with the material choices.

While its a bit hard to see with the low-res images, the upper is comprised of mesh and fuse overlays in high-wear areas. A Phylon midsole is used along with a forefoot Zoom Air unit which can be seen with the window on the outsole. Traction looks impressive — it has been with every KD Trey 5 model — as thick herringbone is in place which would make these ideal for indoor or outdoor hoopers.

No word on when these will release but expect to see them hit shelves around late spring or during the summer season. Price for the KD Trey 5 IV retailed for roughly $115 so we should expect to see the KD Trey 5 V to release for around the same price.

Share your thoughts on this first look at the Nike KD Trey 5 V and let us know if you’ve enjoyed past models within the KD Trey 5 line in the past.

    1. This is a marketing strategy, they do it everytime:
1-“leak” a bad quality photo and lower the expectations, than release the beauty shots with the official release info and rise above the expectations
      2-?????
      3-profit
