A Detailed Look at the adidas Harden Vol 2

The adidas Harden Vol 2 releases in mid-February and we’ve got a detailed look for anyone anticipating its release.

Like many other signature models that have released over the past year, the retail price will remain the same for the most recent iteration.

The Harden Vol 2 retails for $140 but, like with the first Harden signature, it is likely that premium versions will eventually release for a higher price. The tech specs are relatively the same on the Harden Vol 2 as well.

Full-length Boost is back, but this time around its thicker than ever before. Thicker also means more dense, so there’s less bounce in lieu of more Boost. Impact protection is greater than the original, but you lose a bit of court feel.

The materials feel like a slight downgrade. Mesh and synthetics are used (on this colorway) whereas jacquard knit and thick leather or suede were used on most of the Harden Vol 1 colorways. While this isn’t a deal breaker in terms of performance, it was nice to see leather make an appearance in today’s performance sneaker world.

Share your thoughts on the adidas Harden Vol 2 below and stay tuned for the performance review in the coming weeks.

  1. higher/ more of the cage thingamajig and less boost would have made these a better sneaker and maybe even slightly better looking, but then it would look like the jordan xxx2 on a serious diet. “thinking emoji”
