Celebrate 70 Years of Diadora with the Hanon x Diadora ‘Aberdeen’

Scottish retailer Hanon is helping Diadora celebrate its 70th anniversary with a special collaboration: the Hanon x Diadora ‘Aberdeen’. It’s a 1979 court shoe redesigned with several rare and luxurious materials.

The city of Aberdeen is Hanon’s hometown, and the city is often referred to as “The Granite City” — a name given for the many buildings in the city that incorporate grey granite. Thus, the shop’s latest collaborative shoe features materials like a nubuck upper that is contrasted with a grey suede along the toe, kangaroo leather heel tabs, a double-layer stripe that features kangaroo leather and a layer of ostrich leather, and finally a kangaroo leather tongue.

The colors of the shoe are predominantly shades of grey that are contrasted with the black midsole/outsole. Both shoes feature debossed branding at the heels, and come with four sets of laces. The tongues are also co-branded with both Hanon and Diadora branding, as well as Aberdeen again. Finally, the main pop of color comes from the bright, luxurious red insoles.

The Hanon x Diadora ‘Aberdeen’ will release exclusively at Hanon on April 7 for a retail price of £149 (approx. $210 USD).
