Andrew Wiggins adidas Pro Bounce PE Gets Surprise Release

In early September, WearTesters reported that adidas had a Pro Bounce PE coming for Andrew Wiggins. On Monday, the shoe released without warning alongside a Kristaps Porzingis PE.

Now that the NBA has loosened sneaker color restrictions for the upcoming season, this bright Semi Solar Green and Collegiate Royal PE seems appropriate for Wiggins. An homage to the brightest build of the Timberwolves’ jerseys, the Pro Bounce features ForgeFiber mesh upper with blue hits on the Three Stripes and Wiggins’ logo on the tongue.

The Pro Bounce is adidas’ new all-around team shoe for all positions. Force-mapped zones on the outsole, which uses concentric circles for its traction pattern, should enhance traction while an articulated GeoFit comfort collar should offer support without restriction.

The shoe rides atop comfortable Bounce cushioning and a TPU midfoot shank for stability and torsional rigidity. You can learn more by checking out Nightwing2303’s adidas Pro Bounce Detailed Look and Review below.

The adidas Pro Bounce Andrew Wiggins PE is available now for $130, $10 more than the non-PE model, at adidas.com in sizes 4 to 15. Look for this shoe on Wiggins feet once the season starts.

  1. I like the colorway in general (not a Timberwolves nor Wiggins fan). I’m not excited about the mid cut. I’d probably pick up these in a low if the reviews sound good.

Isn’t Wiggins a sneaker free agent? I wonder if he re-signs with adidas or if this is the last Wiggins shoe from adidas.
