The Air Jordan 18 Retro White/Royal Drops Next Week

Air Jordan XVIII White:Royal 2

Depending on how you feel about the Air Jordan 18 Retro, that could be a good thing or a bad thing.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but it is one shared by the staff at WearTesters: the Air Jordan 18 Retro is one of our more anticipated releases of 2018. Now, a concrete release date and price has been announced and it could not come sooner.

While the Air Jordan 18 Retro arrives January 22 for $225, according to Complex Sneakers, it arrives right before a month packed full of releases that include the Black History Month sneakers, iconic Air Max retro releases, the new Air Max 270, and several anticipated Jordan Brand drops.

Thus, this latest retro may be overshadowed by more hyped releases. Those trying to ball on a budget may be able to pick up this tech-filled sneaker on a discount.

You can find this release on nike.com and select Nike retailers come release day.

    1. Had to Google the 18.5 and I agree that those look dope. The 18 look good but not a big fan of that “tongue”. But I just might cop it for the collection.

  1. I LOVED the 18’s for hooping minus the lack of ventilation. It’s not a shoe for slashers and those who want low to the ground feel. It’s GREAT for big men with a bit of mobility and a post up game… you know… kinda like how MJ played on the Wizards. The 18.5 and 18 Low were a very nice upgrade as they were able to breathe! I hope these sit on shelves long enough for me to cop at discount cuz there isn’t any way in hell I’m paying 225. I’m curious to see if they will in fact have double stacked heel zoom and the super awesome insoles with carbon fiber but I won’t get my hopes up.

    1. Like all the $225 JB releases, I’m sure they won’t tinker with the tech too much… sadly, that’s the way it is nowadays.
