adidas continues its annual tribute to spring with the Florist City Collection.
Inspired by the flowers that bloom in the city of Portland, and the state of Illinois, the collection includes the D Lillard 2 and the D Rose 6 in lieu of the J Wall 2 that had been previously placed in the collection.
Damian Lillard introduces his third Florist City edition that represents Portland’s famous rose gardens and Rose Festival with an all-red D Lillard 2. The latest ode to the city’s favorite flower features a woven upper with a unique rose pattern and deep black contrasts. A clear graphic on the shoe’s upper panels deliver a droplet effect, while metallic Oak print hits on the heel cap and lace lock cast a bold, reflective finish.
The D Rose 6 details Illinois’ state flower, the violet, which is graphically printed on the upper with dark purple and black accents. Celebrating the arrival of spring, the silhouette is designed with gold hits on the lace loop, eyelets, webbing straps, signature branding and heel cap foil treatment. The Florist City edition also features a translucent black outsole with gold flecks. – adidas
Both pairs look to feature great materials so if you’re interested in when and where you’ll be able to grab a pair then you’ll be pleased to know that the D Rose 6 ($140) and D Lillard 2 ($105) both release on March 18. Will you be picking them up?
Very Nice ! Too bad that Adidas don’t mix morte Colors, there’s already sole red colorways with the Lillards and Purple with the primeknit Rose 6……

The Lillards are nice. I have a Mi Adidas saved that I’m super tempted on. Waiting for friends and family or some other coupon.
I think the Lillard 2 could have followed the KD 8 Aunt Pearl and actually made the upper look like Rose buds or petals. ??
I love the purple of the Rose 6 and the gold hits are always a plus. But at first glance they look like a fireworks show more so than a flower. ??
Side note: I got the Aurora Borealis Rose 6 and I was expecting PrimeKnit to be like the Ultra Boost but it has another layer of fabric underneath. SUPER COMFORTABLE though.???
