adidas Unveils Kyle Lowry Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE Colorway

adidas has been dishing out PE colorways for the Crazy Light Boost 2.5 for a minute, especially with athletes such as James Harden and Andrew Wiggins — just to name a few. But with stars blooming from all facets of the league, it’s about time Three Stripes gave the two-time All-Star Kyle Lowry some love all the way up in the 6ix. Let’s take a look.

The colorway really stands out with hints of red and black along the forefoot and midfoot, while a mixture of both along the heel and, of course, the visible white Boost cushion on the heel to go along with the Toronto Raptors color-scheme. Also visible are Kyle Lowry’s initials, presented as a logo on the tongue. The Three Stripes is really taking care of its players and we don’t expect anything less from them. We’re not sure if this particular pair will release to the public, but with the popularity of adidas these days, you can never put it past them. Let us know what you think in the comment section.

  1. if these come out, nobody’s going to care, and they’ll end up at the outlets in a few months….which means they will be mine sooner or later….
(as they should, seeing as how i’m from toronto and am a massive lowry fan)

by the by, has anybody actually played in the 2.5? the OG pair was my favorite shoe from last year

  2. For next year’s Crazylight, have bounce in the forefoot, and boost in the back. That would be nice. Also a harder, less shallow outsole would be appreciated.

    1. It appears adidas can do you one better(finally they figured out, that if Boost is IT, you need to put it into every shoe).
Next season(from the trade-show leaks) appear to have Full-length Boost in the CrazyLight, the CrazyExplosive(former Wall3), the Harden 1(similar, but with open-Boost in the Forefoot, and more ankle-support than the CLBoost 2016), and Rose 7(no visuals on the Lillard 3 yet).

So adidas should finally be able to deliver All Boost in Everything.

    2. And sorry for the double, but the traction should be better, still quite narrow, but much less shallow.

  3. Super clean. I just wish this version had primeknit all the way to the toe area like the standard Crazylight 2015. Still might need to pick these up. That black/red primeknit looks sick. Put boost (or bounce) in the forefoot and these might be my favorite shoe in the past couple years.

  4. upper looks awesome. traction is suspect. cushion should be alright. but still, I wont buy this because it’s a Lowry.
