adidas just officially unveiled two new colorways of the adidas D Rose 6.
We have seen these before since they’ve started to release overseas a few weeks ago, but today they’re officially showing everyone the goods. They’ve dubbed these two versions alternate Home and Away. One being a simple Black/ White with the other is a more traditional Chicago Red/ White – Black look.
Materials have changed a little. The Black edition comes with a mesh upper while the Red comes with a circular knit. Both looks great and should be very comfortable on-court.
The ‘Away’ is slated for a January 7 release, while the ‘Home’ drops February 6 at for $140.
Dammit Adidas, another mesh option? Just throw primeknit on there for all colorways and get it over with. I already bought the damn away ones too with the synthetic leather.
The black version… I thought it was Primeknit… adidas marketing is killing me, they really want us to wait for ASG to sell Primeknit version?
What is circular knit supposed to be? Because that link takes me to some red ladies polo shirt.
It’s a knitted material with a circular(or also sometimes called ‘eye’) pattern.
the red colorway just popped, beautiful, but i’ve grown to love mesh material. glad i didn’t jump the gun and cop the first drop of the Rose 6.
The black ones will be my second pair of 6s. Yep.
If the White/Black/Red fit well they will be copped.

Good call. Maybe these could work outdoors.
I could see past the inconsistency of material choices if the shoes were more commonly found in stores. It’s really annoying.
That, and I noticed that even though these are presumably a soft material, they’re not using round laces like the ASG and Xeno versions. Such laces are actually way better imo in working through the hidden loops.
I wonder what happened to the white/black colorway shown around the time the shoe was first shown. Oh well, the “Year of the Monkey” colorway may be my last pickup of this model.

Checked Eastbay and Footlocker have the black aways set for the January 15th
just got the black ones today and really caught my attention. was only suppose to buy the primeknit but couldn’t resist getting the black mesh, it was just simplistically beautiful and snug. can’t wait to see the red and white next month. might buy it as well. oh my geezuz, my wife is going to kill me.
