The adidas Harden BTE Launches Overseas Tomorrow

The biggest news coming from James Harden is that his Houston Rockets team obtained an All-Star, Gold Medalist, and future Hall-of-Famer, Chris Paul.

We aren’t here to bask in that process, however, we are here to talk about the launch of the brand new adidas Harden BTE (Brothers Through Everything).

The team shoe applies the overall concept and design from the original adidas Harden Vol. 1 with a more budget friendly approach. Although it is a takedown model, the shoe is no slouch.

The shoe is a low-top, just like its predecessor, along with the same asymmetrical lacing format. The rest of the shoe is comprised of a breathable mesh upper with leather at the tongue. The full-length Bounce cushion should provide adequate support for impact protection, and there is a translucent outsole that utilizes the same pattern as the Harden Vol. 1.

The designer of the Harden BTE has stated that the shoe will not come Stateside. For those overseas, the shoe releases August 2 for $140. For those that want to be team early, you can head over to k101store.com because they currently have a full-size run.

Do you think Bounce would feel better on the Harden Vol. 1 rather than the super low-profile Boost? Do you like the open-mesh and leather materials on this model? Let us know.

  1. It’s a shame these aren’t coming stateside. They look comfortable as HELL and have an overall nice aesthetic. I bet that Bounce feels nice too.
