adidas D Rose 773 IV in Tonal Red and Blue Options

The adidas D Rose 773 IV continues to release overseas. This time around they’ve dropped in a few tonal options like red and blue.

I think the shoes look great. Like many have stated in the comment section, adidas seems to be straying away from their giant 3-Stripe branding. This allows the designer to have much more freedom with their designs. It’s starting to show with nicer looking models that aren’t bombarded with stripes. Bounce cushion is used, and from what Duke4005 has explained, the foam has been infused with more rubber which means you’ll get a bouncy ride that cushions but is still responsive. Much like Cushlon from Nike.

Still no word on when these are coming to the States, but when we spot them you’ll be the first to know.

  1. We have some at the local sportchek in Canada and they’re around $130 so they’ll probably be $100 in the states

  2. The colors look good, and the shoes like Zoom LeBron IIIs. Just waiting for a release date, price, and Nightwing review.

  3. Sportchek in Canada is carrying them right now in a white/black/red colourway. I absolutely love these red and blue colours here. Looking forward to these and more colours dropping soon.

  4. So boost is what zoom is to nike, and bounce is adidas’ lunarlon? Or something like that i guess. Hope to try these out

  5. I’ve got the USA colorway and these are probably the best 773 that have released. The nice cushion is a lots often than eva foam but still gives you great responsiveness. Lockdown is also pretty solid. I would not play in these outdoors as the traction, or rubber compound, is much like the crazylight boost 2015. But for what your putting out for this shoe. I would say it’s a great buy. And if the pics don’t do it justice, they actually look good in hand and on foot. Just my opinion

  6. I agree, not seeing anything here that makes me want these. The strap looks OK but the all red/all blue need something else. I like the placement of the DRose and 773 symbols. Maybe black straps, grey/black laces, black midsole, and white tongue on the red and white/orange laces, orange midsole, orange straps, and slightly darker blue for a Bears tribute for the blue

  7. The strap system looks similar to the Rose 6’s. The traction looks great, but it looks like dust will effect it as the pattern is pretty tight.

  8. Is Bounce an new cushioning system or have Adidas used it before on older models?

I wouldn’t mind seeing a breakdown of all their midsole cushioning techs and the differences. So it looks like they now use EVA, Boost, Adiprene+ and Bounce. Looks like they’ve got a bit more variety going now.
