adidas D Lillard 1 – Detailed Look

The adidas D Lillard 1 gets a new detailed look, which gives us our best look yet at what to expect.

They’re really low, but they feature a SprintFrame so they should be pretty supportive. adiPrene is the cushion source, not too impressed with that after playing in the J Wall 1, but they’ll be fine for a couple of hours of on-court action. Traction looks to be their best attribute, with adidas’ Wavebone pattern running nearly full length.

  1. I don’t mind the silhouette, but they make it look to much like a running or training shoe in my opinion. Glad Lillard got a sig, though. Hopefully they’ll look better in the future.

  2. Not sold yet, I like that the look and use of materials, but then again I don’t like it.. It’s strange, doesn’t give me the feeling that it’s a basketball sneaker in some way. Looking forward to how they’ll perform on court!

  3. they could have at least done a three stripes look instead of the big ass ugly adidas logo, or just double up on dames nice new logo.

  4. Wish they’d gone with the 3 stripes on the heel like the d rose englewood 2 then put Dame’s logo on the tongue

  5. I like it. Adiprene and cored out heel should be good cushioning. And I love me some techfit. Lillard finally got his signature shoe.

  6. I will defiantly get a pair, and don’t normally compare shoes because I think it’s retarded but wow this looks like a updated drose 1

  7. Will buy for sure. Kinda wish adidas would have at least gone with boost in the heel, like crazy light boost.
Also, that logo is huge!!!! No bueno.

  8. Still not feeling these at all. I’m not OCD but the shoes having different logos on the heel and tongue really looks bad to me. If you changed the speckled white part to boost you might have my attention.

  9. Good looking shoe adidas.

    Edits IMO,

Edits: Replace BIG adidas logo on back of shoe with Dame logo.

Edits: Replace TECHFIT with a logo, Dame or adidas. Put TechFit inside shoe.

Edits: advertise BOOST yes. Advertising 20 year old technologies in adiPrene +, not so much. Put that information inside the shoe and on the box.

  10. traction and techfit upper looks great. adiprene should be better since its more soft than adiprene + right? but not a fan of that huge adidas logo at the heel

  11. I don’t like the different logo’s on left/right heel, I like the symmetry of having those the same.

Also big-logo’s I don’t mind, it needs to be just logo though, no letters.

  12. By the time I finished scrolling through these snaps, I’d finished a bowl of cookies n cream flavoured ice-cream with crumbled Oreos bro.

  13. I think theyr lovely, and will play a lot like a Rose 3-4.5 especially the lower ones. I wish they’d of gone with D on the back of each, but it’s a good looking shoe for the NBA’s 5th leading scorer in his 3rd year. Amazing talent. Adidas has a real gem in Damian Lillard.

  14. Btw Slam put out the Adidas Rose, Wall, T Mac some other Adidas YotG colors, I read elsewhere there would be a Dame in the YotG colorway. It’s not YearoftheSnake good, but it’s pretty impressive
