adidas CrazyQuick 2

Small tweaks have been made to the adidas CrazyQuick midsole & outsole and they will be featured on the upcoming adidas CrazyQuick 2.

We will still get everything we loved about the original on the latest version but it looks as if they’ve taken the initiative to implement some much needed forefoot cushion. Could it be Boost? I doubt it… unless these release after the Rose 5.0. Its most likely a dual density setup of EVA and adiPrene… and I can dig that.

  1. Ever since boost foam debuted on runners I often wonder why Adidas did not implement it into a basketball shoe by way of insole like the Lunarlon insole in the Kobe 8. That to me is the easiest solution instead of trying to integrate it into the midsole and would work wonderfully with this upcoming model.

    1. I think adidas is working on that as the boost midsole has to be adjusted to fit for basketball sport, it can’t be as soft as their running shoes’ midsole.

  2. i have the crazyquicks and they are the best shoes ive played in, but they need to work on upper/outsole durability

  3. I like these and I really like how the PUREmotion was tweaked. I seriously doubt that Boost will be on these as well.

  4. Pretty arbitrary placement of the three stripes. Might have looked better if they incorporated it on the forefoot.

  5. I like where the stripes are. it’s different. is that a geo-fit collar? if it is than looks like they are really digging it since its showing up again.

  6. I feel that even with these few tweaks such as (what appears to be) targeted cushion, this is a good step forward for Adidas. Let’s hope their future models will have more diversity.

On a side note, keep up the terrific work Nightwing! I always appreciate all you do for the sneaker world!

  7. I think the green part is a different cushion, just my instinct. If one day, adidas will made all of their basketball shoes with boost, I will go for adidas :p

  8. the tiny bit of adiprene+ in the rose 4 feels really good, in my opinion, and i also enjoy the adiprene in the real deals quite a bit. i love my crazyquicks so much that i’ve torn them up now, definitely going to give these a go.

    1. I was about to ask that. So the traction still wouldn’t be good for outdoors then?

I was hoping that they make it more durable like the Rose 4s so we can use them outdoors. Maybe I’ll have to wait until the Rose 4s go down in price so I can use them as an outdoors shoe, also so I can try out my first Puremotion 2.0 shoe.

  9. Letgs see who gets injured next wearing this garbage. Lin almost had a chance now he will go down too.

    1. Your just a hype beast . I notice every nike and Jordan he posts is amazing to you . I bet you never actually wore Adidas shoes in your life.

    2. I’m not happy with this shoe … The spiny frame looks like the old one… There was so much ray improving that could have been done

        1. Thanks but for me on the side the sprint frame cupped the foot where it stretch longer jabbed at my foot. I would of liked them to make it regular like the droses

  10. Hopefully we get solid adiprene. I experienced that in the TS bounce commander 1. There was adiprene in the forefoot and in targeted sections in the insole. Very comfortable and firm enough to be good for performance. Anybody else remember the bounce commander line? They had that crazy heel cushion thing that did absolutely nothing for performance.

  11. Original Crazyquick was hella responsive but really bare bones cushioning I guess that’s the point but I had to switch shoes after a few tries….dumb painful
