adidas showcased the new Crazyquick 2 during All-Star weekend and today we get a detailed look at the upcoming model in it’s vibrant blue colorway.
SprintFrame, SprintWeb and Next Gen PureMotion all make their way back to the second iteration of the sneaker and I’m personally excited to see how they feel in comparison to the original.

Impact protection for my old ass is my only concern. They look like theyd do everything else quite well.
Old is “subjective.” I’m in the NBA retiring age range, but still a high flyer. The CrazyQuick line is for the grounded player with strong lower body ligaments. I have to be very mindful of how I play in the 1st generation CQs because there literally feels like nothing is there.
Pass on these based on your first sentence.
Tech fit is gone?
it seems that adidas is moving away the techfit uppers..not a lot of people loved em (i do.. Crazyquick runners FTW).. you can see the newer boost (minus the energy 2 ) shoes, adipures and these are not using techfit anymore (sucks)
For me, the lace loops look a bit like there’s maybe something like the dynamic Fit System. Do you know something about that Nightwing?
And I hope the forefoot cushion is Boost!!! That would be nice!
Its possible but they could also be sewn into the shoe.
Aspects of it definitely remind me of the Rose 4.5 (which is a good thing). I’m not loving the side heel 3 stripes. It makes the shoe look a bit clunky to me. Like most people I’m just waiting for Adidas to use their top tech cushion (boost) for a bball shoe. I think this would also look really good using premium leather. Replace the main blue overlay with premium white dimpled leather. That would be sexy.
Can’t wait for the other colorways such as that navy/silver. I didn’t buy the 1st crazy quick, but I’m looking forward to trying these

where’s the tech fit? 🙁 that was by far the best feature of the first shoe, which is most certainly one of the best pairs of shoes that i have laced up in years…if the rose 4 had a tech fit upper it would probably be absolutely perfect in every regard
