There are serious perks to being #teamadidas. This latest Crazy Explsove 2017 PE for Kristaps Porzingis is one of those perks.
This PE, created for the 7’3″ New York Knicks center, is an homage to Porzingis’ home country of Latvia. He will be rocking these while playing for his national team — and he’ll probably be destroying people in them.
Done up in the carmine red of the Latvian flag, the heathered Primeknit upper sits atop a dark red midsole. The outsole showcases the stunning coat of arms of the Republic of Latvia; according to the Latvian State Chancellery of the President, the red lion of Courland represents Kurzeme and Zemgale while the silver griffin of Polish Livionia represents Vidzeme and Latgale.
This Porzingis PE will probably never hit retail — but this writer will keep hoping because it is absolutely stunning.
