The adidas Crazy 8 ADV PK Surfaces in Two Striking Colorways

adidas crazy 8 ADV PK red 7

After spotting a Primeknit-equipped Crazy BYW LVL I, new colorways of adidas’ latest Primeknit update, the Crazy 8 ADV PK, have surfaced.

What could be a two-part pack, these Crazy 8 ADV PK builds feature striking red accents at the forefoot; the white colorway is a bit more subdued with just a hint of red, but the black colorway uses the red underfoot and for the first two pods.

A leather heel patch offers a premium touch to the white colorway while a suede piece compliments the black sneaker. Both Crazy 8 ADV PK colorways feature white midfoot shanks underfoot.

While there is no official release date for these Crazy 8 ADV PK colorways, expect them to hit adidas.com soon for $140 each.

  1. A shoe that appears to have lost its way in modern times “Street ball” is no longer a thing. Neither are chunky shoes. Might be time to toss these in the archive section Adidas.

  2. Are you fucking kidding me, Bobby? Street ball is always a thing. I feel like a lot more people play ball casually in the park, then in gyms. Are they gonna get a 140$ shoe for that – good question, but street ball is and has always been big.
I’m crazy though, and this shoes might be what I dreamed about but lost all hope – durable bottom with “premium” top. Practically all street ball shoes are made from durable stiff materials – not just bottom but top as well. But by the time the outsole of my shoes are flat, top is still practically untouched. So why the fuck do I have to “suffer” in them durable stiff uppers then? Make the top soft, so the shoe can wear off uniformly. So I’m grabbing these for sure, besides Breds are fire!

  3. someone reviewed on it but not with this PK version, still playable on courts, same with the old crazy 1

here in the Philippines we ball in streets with our sandals and feet, no need to put shoes, you play the old school way

adidas is putting latest tech in old school shoes which you can actually play on

  4. Good to know Kenobi!

I remember playing with a barefoot dude down here in Moscow on hardfloor outdoor court. He stayed away from the paint and kept launching his nukes from afar. Haven’t seen him in a while though…
But yeah, I guess it depends on the style you play. I find myself playing close contact quite often, so I need to secure my feet.

Fuck yeah, I enjoy what Adi is doing!

  5. thank you, russki

hope adidas release TMacs and Agent Zeros with newer upper or advanced outsoles to play and rock on, they’ve already done it with the crazy 1s and 8s
