The adidas AlphaBounce Beyond offers subtle changes won’t go beyond most expectations.
Meet the newest build of the $110 do-it-all adidas AlphaBounce, the AlphaBounce Beyond. While almost everything is the same as pervious iterations of the sneaker, there are subtle differences — the most noticeable being that there is higher tongue design, making this shoe more of a mid.
Also, the Bounce midsole is slightly extended on this version, and it rides atop a black Continental rubber outsole with a new traction pattern that resembles what is found on the adidas Dame 4.
Finally, the heel counter an arch support been slightly altered — as has the ForgedMesh upper, which now uses a new pattern inspired by the ARAMIS system.
Though many would say Bounce isn’t as comfortable as Boost, our testers have preferred Bounce to Boost for running. You can check out Duke4005’s adidas AlphaBounce Performance Review to learn more.
