The New Balance 247 Luxe Pack is Finally Here

We’ve been waiting for the New Balance 247 to arrive at retail since it was unveiled in Q4 of 2017. The marketing push was global and now, the latest lifestyle shoe from NB is finally here.

The low top utilizes a synthetic nubuck stretch bootie, high grade performance rubber outsole, and a premium leather upper. A midfoot saddle provides lateral stability while some of the styling pays homage to classic NB models of the past. According to New Balance, the REVlite midsole underfoot provides responsiveness and durability at a 30% lighter weight than other foams with comparable performance.

This afternoon, Foot Locker’s NYC33 location at 125 W 33rd St in New York is hosting a New Balance Sneaker Session with DJ Clark Kent and sneaker customizer extraordinaire MACHE275 to launch the new 247; you can use the #lifein247 to see more.

The New Balance 247 is available now NYC33 and when you buy you’ll get a free powerbank (while supplies last). Only one colorway is available on FootLocker.com right now (yet all three come up in the search) but all three versions from the Luxe Pack have hit NewBalance.com for $120.

The shoes should also hit Footaction soon. Currently, this is a men’s silhouette. There is no official word on whether the silhouette will arrive in women’ sizes.

  1. Not a NB kind of guy but I wanted these to be my first NBs. I’m intrigued with the NB story and how that culture came about, especially when I hear people say that these are like the roshe/airmax in other countries.

There’s just more to the ‘game’ and being a ‘sneakerhead’ than jumpmans, checks and three stripes.

Too bad the raffle mechanics for these were not kind to me. On to the next…
