After the on-court XENO collection adidas unveiled last week, the Internets weren’t expecting more. Yet, it seems like adidas’ only competition off-court is itself, so it put a cherry on top: the adidas AlphaBounce XENO will be here this Friday.
It’s the usual XENO fair; in natural light the upper will be deep black and iridescent, but with a bit of light the material pops with a myriad of bright colors. Moreover, as the angle of the light shifts, so too will the colors. Even the outsole gets activated by light (although I can’t tell the difference…).
This technology does come at a small price increase; the adidas AlphaBounce XENO will retail for $120 and hit adidas.com starting November 25. Thoughts on this latest XENO-equipped kick? How would you utilize this material? Let us know in the comments below.
