Updated Nike Air Max 95 Models (Ultra Jacquard & Ultra) Are Available Now

Nike is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 95 by updating the tech and aesthetics on the classic runner.

The Ultra version features the classic colors associated with the Air Max 95, albeit with some pretty big differences. Instead of multiple layers of material on the mid-foot, the different shades of grey are all one piece. Also, the Air Max unit is noticeably absent on the forefoot, with the heel setup looking more like an Air Max 90.

The Ultra Jacquard version takes the opposite approach, adding a lot of tech instead of making the shoe more minimalist like on the Ultra. A more breathable mesh is utilized on the upper and the very noticeable Flywire strands loop through the laces to provide a more snug fit.

You can purchase the Nike Black and Volt Air Max 95 Ultra ($125) and the Ultra Jacquard ($185) starting at 10am on July 16 at the links below each image:

  1. I actually like these…but I refuse to buy another AM95 until they fix the cushioning. Unbelievable how one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn is so far from the OG comfort wise

    1. I don’t know about these but the upcoming neon green 95 looks like Nike is trying to make the model closer to OG form.
